Job summary

H.T. Prof Executive Search is seeking a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor for a Battleboro, NC food manufacturing facility. The role is hands-on, leading a team of 15-25, ensuring safety, quality and production goals in a bakery/food processing environment.

Responsibilities include directing daily production, coaching staff, maintaining GMPs and food safety standards, coordinating with maintenance and QA, and ensuring smooth shift handoffs. On-site role with competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• Production supervisory experience in food manufacturing; bakery or frozen food experience is especially relevant.
• Demonstrated ability to lead employees, manage performance, and build accountability.
• Working knowledge of food safety, GMPs, and manufacturing operations.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work the assigned shift and support production scheduling needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production activities, staffing, and shift assignments.
• Coach, train, and develop employees while setting clear expectations.
• Maintain food safety, quality, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
• Monitor production performance, address downtime, and improve efficiency.
• Partner with maintenance, quality, and other departments to resolve issues.
• Communicate priorities and ensure effective shift handoffs.
