Job summary

Zaddy Solutions, a U.S.-based manufacturer of highly engineered structural products, is seeking a hands-on Tax Manager to own the ASC 740 income tax provision and coordinate outsourced tax functions. You will serve as the internal quarterback across RSM, Avalara, and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate tax reporting and compliant filings.

This role focuses on execution and continuous improvement in a lean, fast-paced environment, with exposure to strategic tax planning and collaboration

Qualifications

• ASC 740 income tax provision experience.
• Experience in C-Corp federal and state tax compliance.
• Familiarity with outsourced tax environments (Big 4 / regional firms).
• Working knowledge of Avalara or similar sales tax systems.
• Proven ability to manage audits, resolve tax issues, and work with tax authorities.
• Strong project management and coordination mindset.
• Ability to operate independently in a hands-on environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare annual ASC 740 tax provision including current & deferred calculations, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Perform provision-to-return true-ups and variance analysis.
• Prepare quarterly estimated tax calculations.
• Serve as the primary liaison with external tax advisors and manage timelines.
• Review federal and state income tax returns and workpapers.
• Oversee outsourced sales/use tax compliance processes and filings.
• Identify tax savings opportunities and support leadership with tax implications of business decisions.
