Job summary

Middleburg Communities is seeking a Maintenance Service Manager to oversee all physical operations of the apartment community. You will lead maintenance, coordinate and perform services, and ensure curb appeal and quality of homes while maintaining safety standards.

The role requires a high school diploma, 4 years of maintenance experience with 2 years in supervision, and EPA/CPO certifications. Strong communication and budgeting skills are essential in this on-site position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; EPA, CPO, CFC Certification Type I and III or Universal.
• Proven maintenance and repair experience with apartment communities; 2+ years supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee all maintenance of the community, ensuring resident satisfaction and retention.
• Schedule and perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and janitorial services; maintain records.
• Provide training on property-specific needs including asbestos, lead, and plumbing.
• Conduct weekly safety meetings and ensure compliance with safety procedures.
• Coordinate apartment turns, renovations, and ensure market-ready units within standards.
• Monitor operating budgets and suggest cost-saving strategies; manage materials and inventory.
