Gold’s Gym - East Tennessee LLC is hiring an Assistant General Manager to drive membership sales and oversee daily gym operations, front desk, kids club, and staff leadership. You will ensure a friendly, clean environment aligned with company values and financial budgets.

The role emphasizes sales leadership, guest service, and hands-on management of payroll, inventory, and operational metrics. A strong background in fitness industry ops and customer service is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma with 3 years professional experience.
• College degree preferred.
• Be promotionally-oriented with ability to direct sales through outreach programs.
• Strong customer service orientation with proven results.
• Understanding of performance metrics including P&L, revenue, budgeting, inventory, payroll, cost controls and facilities maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, manage, and lead sales team members to meet expectations and goals.
• Hire, train, and develop sales, kids club, and housekeeping employees.
• Maintain acceptable level of personal sales production.
• Oversee gym operations, inventory, and assets.
• Manage cancellations and improve member retention per procedures.
• Handle member feedback processes and address concerns promptly.
• Coordinate with Medallia to resolve member issues.
• Assist payroll processing and ensure punches are recorded on time.
• Communicate and follow cash management procedures.
