Job summary

Planet Fitness in Norwood, MA is seeking an Assistant Manager to help oversee gym operations and deliver our Judgement Free Zone experience. Full-time position, 40 hours per week, including some evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

You will lead staff, meet sales and member-service goals, recruit and train team members, coordinate front desk activities, and ensure clean, welcoming facilities. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, paid time off, 401(k), and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Passion for helping others and delivering excellent service.
• Previous management experience preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Suite).
• Current CPR Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Achieve or exceed individual sales goals and contribute to club targets.
• Assist in recruiting, hiring, training and developing staff.
• Maintain a welcoming atmosphere for members and guests with superior service guidelines.
• Provide backup support to Club Manager; schedule and supervise staff.
• Oversee front desk activities: answering calls, member check-ins, tours.
• Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of facility and manage supplies.
