Planet Fitness in Massachusetts is seeking an Assistant Manager to help oversee gym operations and deliver a Judgement Free Zone member experience. This full-time role requires leadership of a diverse team and daily front-desk oversight.

You will drive sales, recruit and train staff, and maintain a welcoming atmosphere while ensuring high service standards. Benefits include health, retirement, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Passion for helping others.
• Commitment to excellent service.
• Previous management experience preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Suite).
• Current CPR Certification preferred.
• High school diploma/GED equivalent required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Achieve or exceed individual sales goals, contribute to club monthly and yearly goals.
• Assist in recruiting, hiring, training and developing a high performing staff.
• Maintain a welcoming atmosphere for all members, guests and staff and ensure service guidelines.
• Assist with staff management and backup support to Club Manager.
• Schedule and supervise staff.
• Oversee member service to ensure superior experience at all times.
• Resolve employee issues or concerns.
• Oversee front desk activities: phones, check-ins, tours.
