Planet Fitness in Norwood, MA is seeking an Assistant Manager to help oversee gym operations and ensure a welcoming, Judgement Free Zone for members and guests. The role is full-time (40 hours) and requires leadership to support staff and deliver exceptional service.

You will assist in recruiting, training, scheduling, and supervising a high-performing team, manage member interactions at the front desk, and help maintain cleanliness and equipment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Passion for helping others.
• Commitment to excellent service
• Previous management experience is preferred
• Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Suite)
• Current CPR Certification preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Achieve or exceed individual sales goals and contribute to club targets.
• Assist in recruiting, hiring, training and developing staff.
• Maintain a welcoming atmosphere for members and guests with superior service.
• Oversee staff management and provide backup support to Club Manager.
• Assist in scheduling and supervising staff.
• Front desk duties including answering phones and member sign-up.
• Support in maintaining facility cleanliness and equipment.
• Communicate openly and build strong relationships.
