Job summary

Planet Fitness - Baseline Fitness is seeking a staff-oriented individual to support gym operations and ensure a positive member experience. You will assist in front desk tasks, welcome prospective members, and help with member sign-ups and inquiries.

Responsibilities include assisting in staff training, overseeing member service quality, performing check-ins, tours, and maintaining a clean, welcoming club image while supporting marketing efforts and inventory management.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include honesty and a strong work ethic.
• Strong customer service skills are required.
• Excellent communication, organizational and leadership abilities are important.
• Basic computer proficiency is expected.
• Physical ability to stand/walk and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Diplomacy and professional behavior are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in training and developing staff.
• Assist in member service oversight to ensure a great customer experience.
• Handle front desk tasks: phones, inquiries, and information calls.
• Assist with member check-ins, sign-ups, cancellations, and updating accounts.
• Give gym tours and help attract potential members.
• Support club manager and back up as needed.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and maintain a positive club image.
• Help oversee cleanliness and appearance of the gym.
• Assist in coordinating marketing efforts and promotions.
• Assist with ordering supplies, inventory, and reporting.
