Job summary

Planet Fitness is seeking a Front Desk Associate in East Hartford, CT. The role requires a friendly, professional demeanor, strong customer service, and the ability to handle payments and inquiries while promoting memberships and promotions.

Responsibilities include greeting members, answering phones, maintaining club cleanliness, and supporting a fast-paced retail environment with accuracy. Flexible weekday/weekend availability is a plus.

Qualifications

• 18 years old or older.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Six months face to face customer service experience in a retail environment required or 1-year Fitness experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and exit members in a confident, professional, and friendly manner.
• Provide gracious and efficient telephone service and answer inquiries.
• Accept payments from customers and give change and receipts.
• Promote products and special promotions to customers to drive revenue.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the club for up to 50% of the shift.
• Answer customer questions and provide information on procedures and policies.
