Job summary

Sky Climber Renewables, in partnership with Vestas Americas, offers the TOP Wind Technician Development Program for entry-level technicians. You will train in safety and mechanical/electrical systems, perform maintenance on wind turbine equipment, and join a service team at a local site.

The role includes full-time employment with comprehensive training provided on hire. Ideal candidates are prepared to travel, pass background checks, and commit to safety-first maintenance practices.

Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Must live within 1-hour commuting distance to job site unless relocating.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a motor vehicle record check.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Successful completion of a climb preview prior to hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic mechanical installations, maintenance, operations, and upgrades following established procedures.
• Demonstrate knowledge of tools and use them safely.
• Dismantle and assemble basic machinery, components, and equipment.
• Accurately document all work performed.
• Follow all Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) procedures.
