Job summary

Sky Climber Renewables, in partnership with Vestas Americas, offers the TOP Wind Service Technicians program. The role involves performing preventive and unscheduled maintenance on wind turbine equipment at locally located sites, with comprehensive safety and technical training provided upon hire.

Eligible candidates are within commuting distance, have a high school diploma or GED, and can pass background checks and drug screening.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s degree in a technical mechanical field or wind energy discipline preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret basic diagrams and wiring schematics.
• Mechanical or electrical background is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic mechanical installations, maintenance, operations, and upgrades following established procedures.
• Demonstrate knowledge of tools and use them safely.
• Dismantle and assemble basic machinery, components, and equipment.
• Accurately document all work performed.
• Follow all Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) procedures.
