Job summary

Extended Stay America in Utah seeks a Guest Services Representative to assist guests, answer phones, check-in/out, and collect payments per company guidelines. You will complete front desk paperwork and help maintain safety and security on property.

You will handle reservations, respond to guest requests, and support breakfast setup while keeping the lobby and common areas clean. Strong English and basic math skills are essential to succeed.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED or 1–3 months related experience.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English with guests and team.
• Proficient operation of the property management system.
• Ability to complete routine front desk reports and paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates and promotes a 100% commitment to guest experience.
• Assists and responds to guest requests with diligent follow-through.
• Resolve guest issues through Make it Right; treat guests and associates with respect.
• Process reservations, registration, payment and departures per guidelines.
• Handle in-house balances; maintain cash, card, and city ledger accounts.
• Set up, maintain, and take down breakfast display promptly.
• Keep front desk, lobby and common areas organized per standards.
• Sell ESA value and convert inquiries into reservations and occupied rooms.
• Collect guest information, identify sales leads and opportunities.
• Periodic property tours to ensure brand standards.
• Provide reasonable accommodation for guest requests when possible.
• Comply with policies including key control and safety reporting.
