Job summary

Extended Stay America in Utah is seeking a Guest Services Representative to greet guests, handle check-in/check-out, answer phones, and collect payment, while ensuring front desk operations align with company guidelines.

The role includes maintaining a tidy lobby, assisting with breakfast setup, resolving guest requests through the Make it Right program, and handling cash and daily paperwork with accuracy. Strong English and math skills are required.

Qualifications

• Proficient in English and able to interact with guests and vendors.
• Proficient operation of property management systems.
• Understand and comply with safety and maintenance procedures.
• Complete routine reports and correspondence.
• Basic arithmetic for payments and balancing cash/credit.
• Apply good judgment in guest interactions and decisions.
• Ability to address and resolve guest-related issues.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates and promotes a 100% commitment to guest experience.
• Responds to guest requests with diligent follow-through.
• Resolves guest issues through the Make it Right process with courtesy and respect.
• Process reservations, registration, payment, and departures per guidelines.
• Maintain cash, credit card, and city ledger accounts accurately.
• Set up, maintain, and break down breakfast display promptly.
• Keep front desk, lobby, and common areas clean and organized.
• Promote ESA value and convert inquiries into reservations and occupied rooms.
• Collect guest information per guidelines; identify sales opportunities.
• Periodic property tours to ensure brand standards are met.
• Provide reasonable accommodation to guest requests when possible and safe.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures including safety and security.
