Job summary

Extended Stay America is seeking a Guest Services Representative to deliver exceptional guest experiences at our Midvale property. You will handle phone calls, in-person inquiries, reservations, registrations, and departures while processing payments per company guidelines.

You will also maintain front desk paperwork, uphold safety procedures, and support housekeeping and laundry tasks as needed. A courteous, proactive attitude and English proficiency are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1–3 months related experience and/or training.
• Equal combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• GSR greets guests and assists with requests, phone inquiries, check-in and check-out, and collects payment per guidelines.
• Process reservations, registrations, payments, and departures according to procedures.
• Maintain front desk paperwork and ensure safety and security procedures are followed.
• Manage cash, credit cards, and city ledger balances and perform daily reconciliations.
• Keep a clean, organized workspace at the front desk and lobby areas.
• Promote ESA value and convert inquiries into reservations and occupied rooms.
• Gather guest information, identify sales leads, and explore opportunities.
• Assist with property tours to ensure brand standards are met.
