Job summary

Extended Stay America, Inc. is seeking a Guest Services Representative in Salt Lake City. You will assist guests, answer calls, check guests in and out, and collect payment in line with company guidelines.

You will also manage daily front desk tasks and ensure safety and security procedures are followed for all associates and guests. You will promote ESA services, maintain breakfast setups, and keep the lobby and common areas clean.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent
• 1–3 months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination
• English communication proficiency required
• Front desk duties including reservations, check-in/check-out, and payments
• Accurate basic math and cash handling required
• Ability to follow safety procedures and company guidelines
• Maintain clean, organized work area and assist guests professionally

Responsibilities

• Assist guests, answer phones, and process reservations and check-ins/outs.
• Collect payments and manage cash, credit card, and city ledger accounts per guidelines.
• Prepare daily front desk paperwork and ensure safety procedures are followed.
• Promote ESA services and convert inquiries into reservations.
• Maintain breakfast area setup and front desk, lobby, and guest areas cleanliness.
• Support housekeeping and laundry teams when needed.
• Provide courteous, accurate information and resolve guest issues.
• Adhere to key control and security policies and report safety concerns promptly.
