Extended Stay America in San Jose is seeking a Guest Services Representative to assist guests, answer phones, check-in/out, and process payments according to company guidelines. The role includes daily front desk paperwork and upholding safety procedures for staff and guests.

You will handle guest requests, resolve issues via the Make it Right program, manage reservations and deposits, and maintain orderly front desk and lobby areas in line with brand standards.

Qualifikationen

• Understand and communicate in English proficiently to interact with guests, associates and outside vendors.
• Proficient operation of the property management system technology. Requires the ability to work through all shift reports and perform the audit function when necessary and assigned.
• Understand and comply with documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Complete routine reports and correspondence.
• Add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Apply good judgment at all times.
• Manage problems, address and solve guest-related issues.

Aufgaben

• The Guest Services Representative (GSR) must demonstrate and promote a strong commitment to providing the best possible experience for our guests.
• Assist guests, answer phones, check guests in and out, and collect payment per company guidelines and procedures.
• Complete front office daily paperwork and ensure safety and security procedures are followed for all associates and guests.
• Resolve guest requests with diligent follow-through using ESA's Make it Right process.
• Process reservations, registration, payment, and departures.
• Handle collection efforts of in-house balances and maintain cash, credit and city ledger accounts.
