Job summary

Extended Stay America is seeking a Guest Services Representative to deliver a high level of guest service at the front desk. You will assist guests, answer phones, check guests in and out, and handle payments according to company policy.

You will also complete daily front office paperwork and help maintain safety and cleanliness standards across the property, supporting the Make it Right process to resolve guest issues and enhance overall guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong communication in English.
• Experience with front desk or hospitality preferred.
• Ability to process payments and handle cash accurately.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates and promotes a 100% commitment to guest experience.
• Assists and responds to guest requests with follow-through.
• Resolve guest issues through the Make it Right process.
• Process reservations, registration, payment, and departures per guidelines.
• Maintain cash, credit card, and city ledger accounts at the property.
• Set up, maintain, and takedown breakfast display promptly.
• Keep front desk, lobby, and common areas clean and organized.
• Sell ESA value to inquiries and convert to reservations.
• Collect guest information per guidelines and identify sales leads.
• Conduct periodic tours to ensure brand standards.
• Provide reasonable accommodations to guest requests when possible.
• Comply with all company policies including safety and key control.
