Extended Stay America in San Jose offers a Guest Services Representative role focused on delivering exceptional guest experiences at the front desk. You will handle check-ins/outs, reservations, payments, and daily paperwork while following safety and security guidelines.

You will respond promptly to guest requests, resolve issues via our Make it Right process, and promote ESA services to convert inquiries into bookings. A professional, courteous approach is essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Understand and communicate in English to interact with guests, associates and vendors.
• Proficient operation of the property management system technology and audit functions.
• Understand and comply with safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures.
• Complete routine reports and correspondence.
• Perform basic arithmetic in all units of measure.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests, answer phones, check-in and check-out, and collect payments per guidelines.
• Process reservations, registrations, payments, and departures.
• Resolve guest issues through Make it Right with respectful customer service.
• Maintain front desk daily paperwork and ensure safety policies are followed.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area in lobby and common areas.
• Promote ESA value and convert inquiries into reservations and room nights.
• Collect guest information and identify sales opportunities.
