Job summary

Extended Stay America in Schaumburg, IL is seeking a Guest Services Representative to assist guests, answer phones, check in/out, and collect payments in line with company guidelines. You will perform front desk daily paperwork and ensure safety procedures are followed.

Responsibilities include resolving guest issues via the Make it Right process, promoting ESA's service culture, maintaining a clean front desk and lobby, handling reservations, and contributing to a positive guest experience

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Proficient operation of the property management system and front desk software.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English with guests, teammates and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests, answer phones, check in and check out, and collect payments according to company guidelines.
• Resolve guest issues through the Make it Right process and uphold ESA's service culture with respect and kindness.
• Process reservations, registrations, payments, and departures per policies; maintain front desk cash and city ledger accounts.
• Maintain a clean, organized front desk area and lobby, and support breakfast setup and related tasks.
