Job summary

United Dairy Farmers is seeking a First Assistant Manager in Cincinnati to lead guest services during shifts and support the Store Manager. You will ensure exceptional service under The Hi Five framework, oversee day-to-day store operations, and maintain store conditions for a safe, welcoming environment.

You will supervise associates, handle POS and cash operations, and ensure compliance with policies and legal requirements, including alcohol and tobacco sales where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Managing other Associates: assign/monitor duties, coach The Hi Five Guest Experience, train Shift Leaders and Guest Services Associates; conduct screening interviews for applicants.
• Store Administration: ordering, weekly delivery reports review, product transfers, paperwork per Store Manager or District Supervisor.
• Overall Guest Services: deliver the Hi Five Guest Experience; greet Guests warmly, ensure store is prepared, anticipate Guest needs, ensure satisfactory departures.
• DipSide Guest Services: prepare shakes/malts, ice cream/yogurt servings, sundaes, sodas and hand-packed containers.
• Operate POS system and Gas Console: authorize gas sales, process transactions, handle cash and cards, manage coupons and food stamps.
• Stocking Merchandise: keep shelves and freezers stocked and presentable; manage dip cabinet, coffee pots, ice dispensers, stock rotation.
