Job summary

United Dairy Farmers is seeking a First Assistant Manager to lead guest services and support store operations with a focus on the Hi Five experience. You will train shifts, supervise associates, and ensure compliant transactions, including alcohol and tobacco sales.

The role requires strong leadership, attention to store conditions, and adherence to policies. A full-time schedule includes varied shifts and weekend coverage, with responsibilities across front-of-house and back-office tasks.

Qualifications

• Must be legally qualified to conduct all sales transactions including alcohol and tobacco.
• Full-time schedule: 40 hours/week with four 2-shift days and one 1-shift day; 2 weekends per month.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Manage associates, coach the Hi Five Guest Experience, and conduct interviews.
• Oversee store administration, orders, deliveries, and paperwork.
• Deliver signature Hi Five Guest Experience and maintain store readiness.
• Operate POS and gas console, handle transactions and cash.
• Stock shelves and ensure product presentation and date control.
