Job summary

PopStroke is seeking friendly guest-service team members for our Scottsdale venue. You will welcome guests, explain the experience, help with play, handle check-ins and retail transactions, and keep the golf shop and facilities clean and organized.

This role requires strong communication, teamwork, and the ability to work weekends/holidays in a fast-paced setting. You will work both indoors and outdoors and join a team focused on delivering a memorable guest experience.

Qualifications

• Previous guest service, retail, or hospitality experience in a high-volume environment preferred.
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
• Prior POS system experience preferred.
• Must have excellent communication and guest service skills.
• Must have strong teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Welcome our guests on arrival and acquaint them with property.
• Explain venue, check guests in, equip guests with tools to play, and answer questions.
• Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, beer, wine and ice cream at the golf counter. Assist guests with retail purchases.
• Maintain the golf shop fully stocked.
• Remove trash, maintain organization of the golf shop and the golf courses.
• Ensure cleanliness of all golf courses, and golf shop areas, including restrooms. Restock golf shop stations and restrooms.
• Answer phone calls and inquiries regarding the venue, pricing, membership and other golf-related information in a professional and courteous manner.
• Handle cash and credit transactions accurately, balancing cash drawers, accurately using POS system, and maintaining security protocols.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure a memorable experience for all guests.
• Assist guests with play, course rules and PopStroke app.
• Work in both an indoor and outdoor environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
