Job summary

PEG Company is seeking a Front Desk Agent to deliver outstanding guest service at our Sacramento-area property. You will manage check-in and check-out, answer inquiries, and coordinate with housekeeping to ensure rooms are ready and guest requests are fulfilled.

A calm, friendly, and professional presence is essential to uphold our brand standards. The role requires strong communication and multitasking abilities, with flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; hospitality or customer service training preferred.
• Previous front desk/reception or customer service experience is desirable.
• Strong communication, problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with computers and reservation/PMS systems is a plus.
• Ability to stay calm and professional under pressure.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Some locations require a valid Driver's license and insurability for company vehicles.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests with a friendly, professional demeanor.
• Handle accurate check-in and check-out procedures.
• Answer calls, direct inquiries, and provide information on services and local attractions.
• Secure payments, issue room keys, and maintain PMS records.
• Resolve guest issues promptly or escalate when needed.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to prepare rooms.
• Keep lobby and front desk areas clean and organized.
• Follow security procedures and monitor guest access.
• Assist with reservations, cancellations, and modifications.
• Promote hotel services to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Occasionally shuttle guest cars as part of valet service.
