Job summary

Highgate Hotels is seeking a Front Office Agent to provide attentive, courteous service at check-in, during the stay, and at checkout while maximizing room revenue and occupancy.

The role requires handling guest inquiries, following cash handling policies, and maintaining familiarity with rates, packages, and promotions. Proficiency with front desk software and the property management system is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
• Computer experience required.
• Customer services experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer inquires from guests regarding restaurants, transportation, entertainment, etc.
• Handle check-ins and checkouts in a friendly, efficient and courteous manner.
• Be familiar with hospitality terminology and rates, packages and promotions.
• Be able to operate all relevant Front Desk computer systems.
• Balance and prepare individual paperwork for closing of shift according to hotel standards.
