Job summary

Highgate Hotels is seeking a Front Office Agent to provide attentive, courteous service to guests during check-in, stay, and checkout, while maximizing room revenue and occupancy. This hourly position requires a warm demeanor and strong communication to support guests and hotel operations.

The role emphasizes knowledge of rates, promotions, and group bookings, with responsibilities spanning guest inquiries, check-ins/outs, and adherence to cash handling policies.

Qualifications

• College course work in related field helpful.
• Experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
• Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all level of employees and guests.

Responsibilities

• Answer inquiries from guests regarding restaurants, transportation, entertainment, etc.
• Follow all cash handling and credit policies.
• Be familiar with all in-house groups.
• Be aware of rates, packages and special promotions as listed in the Red Book.
• Be familiar with hospitality terminology.
• Handle check-ins and checkouts in a friendly, efficient and courteous manner.
