Job summary

Highgate is seeking a Front Office Agent at Residence Inn Salem to greet guests, handle check-ins/outs, and provide information on local attractions. You will ensure accuracy in reservations, rates, and promotions while delivering friendly, efficient service throughout the guest stay.

Qualifications

• College coursework in related field helpful.
• Experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Computer experience required.
• Customer Services experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, courteous service during check-in, stay, and checkout.
• Answer guest inquiries about dining, transportation and local activities.
• Follow all cash handling and credit policies.
• Be aware of rates, packages and promotions as listed in the Red Book.
• Operate Front Desk computer system and maintain accurate records.
• Balance and prepare shift paperwork and reports.
• Maintain cleanliness and assist guests with safe deposit boxes.
