Job summary

Highgate Hotels is seeking a diligent Room Attendant for Residence Inn Salem to maintain clean, attractive guestrooms and deliver attentive service to all guests. The role requires physical activity, attention to detail, and reliable teamwork to uphold brand standards.

Responsibilities include restocking carts, reporting maintenance and missing items, and ensuring a welcoming environment. A high school diploma is preferred, with ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and 20 pounds frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
• Ability to stand during entire shift.
• Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with guests and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean guestrooms according to standards.
• Complete all pre-cleaning duties, including guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and linen for housekeeping cart setup.
• Remove all trash and dirty linen from guestrooms and hallways.
• Keep all hallways, public areas and closets clean, neat and vacuumed.
• Restock housekeeping cleaning cart for next day's use.
• Replenish chemical bottles.
• Report all missing items from room to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
• Report any maintenance repairs immediately to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
• Handle items for Lost and Found according to standards.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
