The role requires strong communication, multitasking and a friendly, professional demeanor, with computer and cash-handling responsibilities. This full-time, hourly position emphasizes customer service and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Front desk and guest service experience preferred.
• College coursework in related field helpful.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with guests and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Answer inquiries from guests regarding restaurants, transportation, entertainment, etc.
• Follow all cash handling and credit policies.
• Be aware of rates, packages and promotions as listed in the Red Book.
• Be familiar with in-house groups and dates.
• Take room reservations and quote rates accordingly.
• Operate and understand the Front Desk computer system.
• Balance shift and prepare closing paperwork per hotel standards.
• Assist guests with safe deposit boxes.
