Shamin Hotels is seeking a Guest Service Agent in Glen Allen, VA. This part-time role focuses on checking guests in and out, handling reservations, answering questions, and guiding guests about local activities. The position reports to the Front Office Manager and operates on an hourly pay structure paid bi-weekly.

The successful candidate will greet guests, manage room assignments, handle payments, and assist with reservations while upholding hotel policies and delivering warm hospitality.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a front desk agent preferred.
• Prioritization and time management skills required.
• Working quickly without compromising quality.

Responsabilités

• Greets, registers, and assigns rooms to guests.
• Issues room key and escort instructions to Bell person or guest.
• Date-stamps, sorts and racks incoming mail and messages.
• Transmits and receives messages using telephone, fax and switchboard.
• Answers inquiries pertaining to hotel services, registration of guests and directions.
• Keeps records of room availability and guests’ accounts.
• Computes bill, collects payment and makes change for guests.
• May make, confirm and cancel reservations for guests.
• Posts charges such as room, food, liquor or telephone by hand or machine.
