Job summary

HHM Hotels in Pleasanton, CA is seeking a Guest Service Agent to warmly welcome guests, register arrivals, and manage payments and reservations. You will respond to guest inquiries, assist with luggage, balance accounts and help maintain a high level of guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience required.
• Knowledge of PMS systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Immediately greet guests and assist with their needs.
• Register and assign guests to hotel rooms.
• Establish methods of payment and verify credit.
• Make and confirm reservations.
• Compute bills, collect payments, and make change for guests.
• Transmit and receive messages using the PMS system.
• Respond to guest requests in a timely manner.
• Receive and resolve guest complaints, elevating to supervisor if necessary.
• Perform housekeeping and safety-related duties as assigned.
• Assist in breakfast area or with luggage during peak times.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
