Job summary

HHM Hotels is seeking a Guest Service Agent to warmly greet guests, check them in, and ensure a smooth stay at our Sacramento property. You will handle reservations, payments, and guest requests with a focus on hospitality excellence and sustainability standards.

The role offers opportunities for growth from Front Desk to Front Office leadership and includes comprehensive benefits and training resources. Must be able to stand for long periods and work varied shifts.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience or equivalent training required.
• Knowledge of PMS systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests immediately and offer assistance with their needs.
• Register guests and assign rooms according to preferences and availability.
• Establish methods of payment and verify credit at check-in.
• Make and confirm reservations and balance guest accounts.
• Compute bills, collect payments, and make change as needed.
• Transmit and receive messages using telephone or PMS system.
• Respond to guest requests promptly and professionally.
• Receive and resolve guest complaints, escalating to supervisor when necessary.
• Ensure guests' valuables are secured in hotel safe if not in room.
• Assist in breakfast area or luggage support during peak periods.
• Aim to achieve high guest satisfaction and contribute to overall hotel performance.
