Job summary

Hyatt Place Omaha/Downtown-Old Market is seeking a Front Desk Supervisor to lead a guest‑centered team and ensure smooth check‑ins/outs, VIP handling, and memorable stays. You will manage reservations, train associates, and maintain policies with a focus on safety and high service standards.

Ideal candidates bring 2–3 years in hospitality, a supervisory background, and a valid driver’s license. Certification requirements may include Food Handlers, Alcohol Awareness, CPR, and First Aid.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in a related field helpful.
• At least 2 to 3 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field required.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Compliance with certification requirements may include Food Handlers, Alcohol Awareness, CPR, and First Aid.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with genuine warmth and manage check‑ins/outs, reservations and VIP requests.
• Track logs, manage messages and packages, and ensure fast, professional service.
• Stay sharp on rates, packages, and promotions to boost revenue while delivering great value to guests.
• Build and lead a communicative team, train associates, and address guest concerns while upholding safety and standards.
