Job summary

Encore Global in Arlington, VA seeks a Technician to set up and run basic AV systems in hotel environments, ensuring guest satisfaction. The role reports to Operations leadership and requires handling equipment, troubleshooting, and maintaining client relationships on site.

The ideal candidate will have 1 year of customer service/hospitality experience and 1 year of AV experience, plus a valid driver’s license; lifting up to 50 lbs is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred is noted.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience is preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required for team members who may operate Company vehicles.
• Additional DOT requirements may need to be met if applicable.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Sets up, operates, and breaks down basic audiovisual equipment to ensure flawless events.
• Exceeds the expectations of internal and external customers and maintains client relationships.
• Troubleshoots basic equipment and software issues and communicates effectively.
• Completes system entry and paperwork, uses equipment sheets, and coordinates with staff and outside vendors.
