Job summary

Encore Global is seeking a skilled Technician to set up and operate basic audiovisual systems in a hotel or convention environment. You will ensure customer satisfaction by coordinating with the Event Technology team and clients on-site, handling equipment setup, operation, and breakdown.

You should have 1 year of AV or hospitality experience, a valid driver's license, and be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Training and certifications must be completed within 60 days.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required. Associate’s degree preferred.
• External applicants must meet training/certification requirements within 60 days.
• Internal applicants must meet Encore’s certification requirements via the Learning Program.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required for operators of company vehicles.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and breakdown basic audiovisual equipment as listed in qualifications.
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain relationships with clients on-site.
• Troubleshoot equipment and software issues in a timely, professional manner.
• Complete system entries and paperwork accurately; use Navigator for orders as needed.
• Assist clients in finalizing invoices and recognize upsell opportunities.
