Job summary

Encore is seeking a Technician to set up and operate small-scale audiovisual systems in a hospitality setting. You will ensure on-site customer satisfaction and work with hotel clients to verify equipment performance.

Ideal candidates have 1 year of hospitality or AV experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. The role entails on-site service, problem solving, and coordination with internal teams.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in educational environment preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required for team members operating Company vehicles.
• DOT requirements may apply where applicable.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and breakdown basic AV equipment per job specifications.
• Exceed customer expectations and maintain positive client relationships on site.
• Troubleshoot basic equipment and software issues professionally.
• Complete orders and enter paperwork accurately; coordinate with staff and vendors.
• Increase revenue using up-selling techniques and assist with invoicing.
