Job summary

Encore Global, a leader in event technology, seeks a Technician for on-site support in a hospitality setting. You will set up, operate, and breakdown basic AV systems, ensuring guest satisfaction and effective client communication.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, coordinating with staff and vendors, and maintaining accurate paperwork. The role requires a valid driver's license; lifting up to 50 lbs; and 60-day certification readiness.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience is preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required for team members that may operate Company vehicles.
• Additional DOT requirements may need to be met if applicable.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• External applicants must meet/validate and achieve/complete all training and certifications within 60 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Sets up, operates, and breaks down basic audiovisual equipment to ensure flawless events.
• Exceeds expectations of internal and external customers with excellent service.
• Communicates effectively to maintain positive client relationships and ensure equipment works properly.
• Follows company processes, completes systems entry and paperwork accurately.
• Works with clients to finalize invoices and interacts with vendors for equipment.
