Job summary

Jack in the Box is seeking a Team Leader to supervise, train and guide the team in delivering an exceptional guest experience. Responsibilities include coaching staff, ensuring order accuracy, and maintaining food safety and cleanliness standards during busy shifts.

The role emphasizes leading by example, solving guest issues, and upholding JIB procedures to achieve consistent, high-quality service for guests.

Qualifications

• Experience – 6 consecutive months JIB experience and 100% certified in all workstations for internal promotes, or 1 year supervisory experience in a restaurant or retail customer service environment.
• Must be at least 18 years old; must complete Team Leader training classes; ServSafe may be required in certain states.
• Ability to speak, read, and write effectively in English; strong interpersonal skills; ability to work with diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and manage dine-in and drive-thru service with a positive, friendly attitude.
• Lead and coach team members to deliver consistent, fast and accurate orders while meeting JIB standards.
• Ensure food safety, cleanliness, and adherence to all policies; oversee shift operations and cash handling.
• Train team members on procedures, product knowledge and brand standards.
