Job summary

Global Partners LP in Lake George, NY seeks a Guest Service Supervisor to oversee staff, enhance guest experience, and ensure smooth store operations. You will supervise daily tasks, coach team members, and uphold safety and policy standards.

The role involves cash handling at the POS, inventory replenishment, and addressing guest inquiries in a fast-paced retail environment. Flexible hours, physical requirements, and local commute are expected.

Qualifications

• Must be available to work flexible hours that may include day, nights, weekends and or holidays.
• Must be efficient and organized.
• Must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for position.
• Ability to freely access all areas of the store including selling floor, stock area, and register area.
• Ability to reach, bend, twist, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb and lift up to 25 lbs. during a shift.
• Work in intermittent temperatures (i.e., cooler, outside, etc.).
• Must have reliable transportation.
• High School Diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Supervise employees ensuring they perform all duties directed by management.
• Coach employees by giving constructive feedback to help perform tasks.
• Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience for everyone.
• Adhere to established safety, security, quality and store operations policies and practices.
• Operate the point of sale according to corporate standards and manage cash levels.
• Ensure store housekeeping tasks are completed (cleaning, dusting, sweeping, etc.).
• Oversee 24/7 execution of guest service programs and processes.
• Manage cash processes including deposits, lottery, gift cards, and checks where applicable.
• Replenish products to maintain in-stock conditions.
• Address inquiries and complaints from guests.
• Check in external and internal vendors per guidelines.
