Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking a Guest Service Supervisor to oversee staff, ensure high service standards, and maintain store operations in Lee, Massachusetts. The role emphasizes coaching, guest satisfaction, and strict adherence to cash handling procedures within a Retail environment.

The GSS will lead by example, handle POS duties, and collaborate with management on safety, security, and quality controls while supporting the company’s commitment to community-focused service and growth

Qualifications

• Must be available to work flexible hours including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to freely access all areas of the store including selling floor, stock area, and register area.
• Ability to reach, bend, twist, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb and lift up to 25 lbs. during a shift.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise employees to ensure duties are performed as directed by management.
• Coach employees with constructive feedback to improve tasks.
• Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience.
• Adhere to safety, security, quality and store policies.
• Operate the point of sale and manage cash levels.
• Ensure store housekeeping is completed.
• Ensure 24/7 execution of guest service programs.
• Manage cash processes including deposits, lottery, gift cards, checks.
• Replenish products to maintain in-stock conditions.
• Address inquiries and complaints from guests.
• Check in external and internal vendors per guidelines.
