Job summary

UDF is seeking an Assistant Manager to ensure outstanding guest service by following the Hi Five experience. You will help manage staff, handle store operations, and ensure safety and compliance while delivering a warm, efficient guest experience.

The role involves coaching associates, administrative duties, and direct involvement in daily store functions including POS and inventory. Strong English communication and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively in English with customers.
• Able to operate POS terminal and basic store equipment.
• Capable of handling cash, making change and processing transactions.

Responsibilities

• Managing other Associates: assign/monitor duties, coach The Hi Five Guest Experience, train Shift Leaders and Guest Services Associates.
• Store Administration: ordering, weekly delivery reports, product transfers, paperwork.
• Provide the signature UDF Hi Five Guest Experience to greet Guests warmly and ensure high standards.
• DipSide Guest Services: prepare shakes/malts, ice cream/yogurt, sundaes, sodas, hand-packed containers.
• Operate POS system and gas console; authorize gas sales and process transactions accurately.
• Stock merchandise; keep dip cabinet full and shelves presentable; rotate stock and check dates.
• Maintain store and parking lot safety and cleanliness; monitor equipment temperatures.
• Reporting: complete time records and Customer First Document; perform other duties as assigned.
