Job summary

UDF is seeking an Assistant Manager to ensure the delivery of outstanding service to every Guest by guiding the team through The Hi Five Guest Experience. This role emphasizes supervising staff, maintaining store operations, and compliance with laws and company policies during each shift.

The Assistant Manager will oversee daily Guest services, cash handling, and store administration while supporting a safe and inviting store environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate effectively in English with customers.
• Operate POS terminal and gas console.
• Handle coins, currency, checks, and credit transactions accurately.
• Lift up to 21 pounds and handle light to moderate physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Manage other Associates: assign, monitor, coach, and train Shift Leaders and Guest Services Associates.
• Oversee store administration: ordering, weekly reports, product transfers, paperwork.
• Deliver Hi Five Guest Experience and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Prepare DipSide items and maintain food service standards.
• Operate cash and sales systems accurately and securely.
• Stock shelves, displays, and maintain clean, presentable dip cabinets.
• Maintain security and loss-prevention practices.
• Ensure store maintenance and proper refrigeration temperatures.
• Complete time records and related reporting.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management
