Job summary

UDF is seeking an Assistant Manager to help deliver the Hi Five Guest Experience and manage daily store operations during their shift. You will supervise associates, support opening/closing tasks, and ensure accuracy in POS and cash handling.

This role requires good communication, the ability to train staff, and adherence to safety and regulatory rules. Full-time schedule, 37-40 hours weekly, with 1st–3rd shift possibilities.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively in English with customers.
• Ability to operate store equipment including POS terminal and gas console.
• Ability to handle coins, currency, checks and cards and make change.
• Ability to screen and train associates as needed.
• Ability to lift and move items as required by the job.

Responsibilities

• Supervise other associates, coach the Hi Five Guest Experience, and assist with interviews.
• Handle store administration tasks and weekly delivery reports.
• Ensure guests receive the Hi Five experience and store is ready for customers.
• Prepare DipSide items and manage shake/malt preparation.
• Operate POS and gas console, process transactions and keep accurate records.
• Stock shelves and maintain clean, presentable display areas.
• Maintain security and follow cash handling procedures.
• Keep store and equipment maintained, and assist with other duties as assigned.
