Job summary

Viva Senior Living at Chesapeake is seeking a Concierge to warmly greet guests, assist visitors, and support residents and families at the front desk. The role requires discretion, compassion, and adherence to privacy and safety procedures. You will answer calls, relay information, and help staff coordinate appointments and tours.

On-site position with emphasis on customer service, teamwork, and professional conduct in a senior living setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must read, write and understand English.
• Ability to interact with residents, families, and staff with compassion and discretion.
• Adherence to facility policies, procedures, and safety rules.
• Willingness to participate in trainings and drills.

Responsibilities

• Receive guests and visitors, having them sign in.
• Assist visitors in finding resident rooms.
• Answer telephone and take messages, respond to requests.
• Announce appointments and arrivals to staff.
• Type memos, correspondence, reports, and other documents as requested.
• Maintain front desk and lobby area neat and organized.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information and rights.
• Provide tours and community information to families/prospective residents.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
