Job summary

Viva Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Concierge to be the welcoming face of our Dresher community. You will greet visitors, answer calls, provide information, and support tours and admissions materials with a warm, professional demeanor.

In this role you’ll help residents and families feel valued and at home, maintain a tidy front desk, and protect resident privacy while collaborating with staff to ensure smooth daily operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous customer service, receptionist, administrative, hospitality, or senior living experience is a plus, but we value the right attitude and willingness to learn.
• Must be able to meet the attendance and scheduling requirements of the position.
• Must be willing to assist during emergency situations, including severe weather, evacuations, or temporary staffing needs, when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Welcome residents, families, guests, and visitors with warmth and professionalism.
• Greet and sign in visitors and assist them in locating resident rooms and community areas.
• Answer incoming telephone calls, take accurate messages, and direct calls or information to the appropriate team members.
• Announce appointments and arrivals to the appropriate staff.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents, families, prospective residents, and guests.
• Share information about community services, amenities, and rates when appropriate.
• Assist with community tours and provide information to prospective residents and their families.
• Prepare and maintain admission and informational packets.
• Assist with sorting and distributing mail to residents, departments, and mailboxes when requested.
• Prepare memos, correspondence, reports, and other documents as needed.
• Help maintain a welcoming, clean, neat, and organized front desk and lobby area.
• Create an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest, dignity, and positive engagement throughout the community.
• Protect the confidentiality and privacy of resident information and Protected Health Information (PHI).
• Follow all community policies, procedures, regulatory requirements, and Resident Rights.
• Report concerns involving resident safety, abuse, neglect, exploitation, mistreatment, or confidentiality to the appropriate leadership.
• Participate in required training, competency programs, emergency drills, and life-safety activities.
• Assist with emergency procedures and resident evacuation when necessary.
• Maintain professional communication and teamwork with residents, families, visitors, and coworkers.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Business Office Manager or Executive Director.
