Job summary

HEI Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Guest Services Associate at our Virginia Beach Oceanfront property. You will assist guests with arrival and departure, register guests, handle payments, and provide local information.

The role requires friendly communication and accurate computer System use. Responsibilities include greeting guests, processing registrations, inputting data, balancing cash, answering phones, and resolving guest concerns.

Qualifications

• Hotel experience preferred.
• Ability to perform arithmetic calculations accurately.
• Strong customer service and communication skills required.
• Ability to operate a computer system and input information accurately.
• Ability to handle payments, process refunds, and balance cash drawer.
• Ability to stay calm during emergencies and busy periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests with arrival and departure.
• Greet guests warmly and provide information on hours and local attractions.
• Complete registration using computer system and assign rooms.
• Process payments, validate cards, and balance house bank.
• Answer phones promptly and relay messages.
• Close guest accounts and address guest concerns.
• Handle guest complaints and resolve issues.
• Maintain calm and safety during emergencies.
• Follow attendance and duties as assigned.
