Job summary

HEI Hotels & Resorts seeks an experienced Executive Housekeeper for Marriott Virginia Beach Oceanfront Resort in Virginia Beach, VA. The role oversees housekeeping operations across guestrooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas, ensuring cleanliness and service excellence in alignment with brand standards.

The candidate will manage a budget, supervise staff, forecast occupancy, and collaborate with department leaders to drive guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of management experience, with at least 3 years in housekeeping management.
• Thorough knowledge of housekeeping operations, multiple brands preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and monitor staff workload to maintain cleanliness and maintenance standards.
• Oversee pool operations and overnight floor care where applicable.
• Manage the housekeeping budget within set controls.
• Inventory guest supplies and small equipment monthly.
• Schedule labor using tools and forecast occupancy and events.
• Interview, hire, train, develop, and evaluate housekeeping staff and supervisors.
• Monitor guest service scores and address guest issues to maintain satisfaction.
• Evaluate furniture, fixtures, and decor; contribute to maintenance and rehab planning.
• Be prepared to perform hands-on housekeeping duties when needed.
• Ensure SOPs and OSHA guidelines are followed; report performance and budget status.
