Qualifications

• Greet and register guests, handle payments, and assist with reservations.

Responsibilities

• Greets, registers, and assigns rooms to guests.
• Issues room key and escort instructions to Bell person or guest.
• Transmits and receives messages via telephone, fax, and switchboard.
• Answers inquiries about hotel services, local activities, dining, and directions.
• Keeps records of room availability and guests’ accounts.
• Computes bill, collects payment, and makes change for guests.
• May make, confirm and cancel reservations for guests.
• Posts charges to guest accounts and processes payments.
• May arrange transportation or entertainment for guests.
• Communicates with front office and other hotel departments.
