Job summary

Shamin Hotels is seeking a Guest Service Agent to greet guests, check them in/out, and handle reservations and inquiries. You will manage room assignments, issue keys, and process payments while delivering warm hospitality across in-person and phone interactions.

This hourly role emphasizes accuracy, teamwork, and a proactive service mindset to ensure guest satisfaction and smooth front-office operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
• Experience as a front desk agent preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling payments.
• Reliable transportation to and from shifts.

Responsibilities

• Greet, register, and assign rooms to guests.
• Issue room keys and provide escort instructions as needed.
• Transact room charges and other fees at checkout.
• Answer inquiries about hotel services, area activities, and directions.
• Assist with reservations, mail handling, and front-office communications.
• Maintain records of availability and guest accounts, report issues.
