Job summary

Shamin Hotels is seeking a Guest Service Agent to greet guests, complete check-ins/outs, and assist with reservations and inquiries. You will confirm guest information, assign rooms, issue keys, and coordinate with Bell staff as needed.

You’ll also handle payments and may arrange restaurant or transportation bookings. The role emphasizes hospitality, accuracy, and attentive service to ensure a smooth guest experience across all hotel departments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Front desk experience preferred.
• Strong time management and attention to detail.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Greet, register and assign rooms to guests.
• Issue room keys and escort instructions to guests or Bell staff.
• Transmits and receives messages via telephone, fax and switchboard.
• Answer inquiries about hotel services, registration and local activities.
• Keep records of room availability and guest accounts.
• Collect payments and process charges for room, food, and services.
• May make reservations and offer recommendations for dining, transportation or entertainment.
• Follow hotel credit policies and handle deposits as required.
