Job summary

Extended Stay America in California seeks a Guest Services Representative to welcome guests, handle check-ins/outs, answer phones, and collect payments in line with company policies. The GSR will manage reservations, process registrations, and ensure front desk daily paperwork is completed.

You will uphold safety standards, assist with breakfast setup, maintain a tidy lobby and back desk areas, and pursue sales leads to convert inquiries into bookings.

Qualifications

• Understand and communicate in English proficiently to interact with guests, associates and outside vendors.
• Operate the property management system and perform audits when required.
• Follow safety rules and company procedures.
• Process reservations, registrations, payments, and departures.
• Maintain accurate cash, credit card and city ledger accounts.
• Assist with breakfast setup and maintain front desk areas.
• Sell ESA value and convert inquiries into reservations.
• Adhere to safety and security policies.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests, answer phones, check guests in and out, and collect payments.
• Complete front office daily paperwork and ensure safety procedures are followed.
• Resolve guest issues through the Make it Right process.
• Process reservations, registrations, payments, and departures.
• Maintain cash, credit card and city ledger accounts.
• Set up and take down breakfast display.
• Keep front desk, lobby and common areas clean and organized.
• Cross-train in housekeeping and laundry as needed.
• Follow all company policies and key control procedures.
